What we do
This photograph was taken a couple of years ago when I did a lot of street photography. Looking at it now makes me want to get back out there. Those that know a thing or two about street photography will not be surprised to learn I had walked about 15 miles that day to get this shot. It's the type of shot you get when you're worn out and in a space that's like a daze... your vision is working but the chatter in your brain has gotten turned off. For me, this image was a stunner and brought me back to earth in time to get the shot. Not more than five seconds after I took the photograph, they both stood up to leave. At art gallery openings here in southern California viewers would remark about the tattoo aka "tramp stamp". Not one person in the three gallery exhibits this photograph was in ever commented on the almost 100% identical body language between the mother and her daughter.
